Bedpan for Immobilised Patients
If the hips can’t be lifted or placed in a sitting position, try using a fracture pan! Patients who have had a hip replacement surgery can benefit from this low profile bedpan. Fracture pans are also ideal substitutes for a female urinal. Designed to hold less urine, this high quality fracture pan is available with or without a lid.
Comfortably Slides Underneath Patient
With a low tapered front, a fracture pan can be slid underneath without lifting the patient or even changing their position. The handle on the back of the pan allows for easy handling and grasping. The pan holds the weight of the patient's buttocks and mid-trunk of their body while the head, arms, legs and chest are supported by the bedding.
Easy-to-Clean Polypropylene
The bedpan has dimensions 310mm (12¼") width, 450mm (17¾") length, and 100mm (4") depth. The smaller design helps to reduce discomfort and possible re-injuring of the fracture. Ergonomically designed to put less stress on pressure points, the polypropylene bedpan is easy to clean and autoclavable to 137°C.
