Immobilizes Wrist, CMC, & MP Joints
The Rolyan Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint provides maximum wrist support with control of radial and ulnar deviation. It is designed to immobilize the wrist, CMC, and MP joints of the the thumb to help prevent further injury. The thermoplastic preformed splint can be used for dynamic splinting to help decrease pain as well as correct deformity.
Splint Provides Stability & Firm Support
The thermoplastic splinting material is available in ⅛” (3.2mm) traditional thickness, providing optimum stability and firm support. The splint is ideal for individuals suffering from deQuervain’s syndrome, MCP joint collateral ligament injury, gamekeeper’s thumb and acute arthritis, and following CMC or MCP joint replacement. Designed to relieve pain and improve recovery, the splint restricts the thumb whilst allowing the other fingers the freedom to move.
Available in Different Sizes & Perforations
The splint comes in beige colour, available in multiple sizes including: small, medium, and large. Individuals can choose between Prodrape ⅛” (3.2mm) Optiperf, a lightweight perforated material providing greater ventilation for increased comfort and compliance, or TailorSplint ⅛” (3.22mm) Solid. TailorSplint is coated, allowing temporary bonds and providing maximum support. The designed thumb hole cut-out on the splint allows the spint to be molded around the thumb for a secure fit.
