Vasyli Dananberg is the first ever professional orthotic constructed with a removable first ray section to enhance first ray function. Built with a high degree of metatarsal control, the foot support helps relieve pain in the heel, knee, and/or back. Including a patented feature called the Tri-Compound Construction (TCC), the orthotic is a combination of PU (comfort), EVA (control), and Rebound EVA (function).
Removable Proximal & Distal Plugs
The first ray section, the proximal and distal plugs, have been designed to be removed individually or together as necessary. To accommodate various lengths of a patient’s foot and toes, users can remove the plugs when fitting the orthotic. This built-in feature ensures the head of the first metatarsophalangeal joint (MPJ) coincides with the removed plug. If maximum effect is required, also known as Structural Hallux Limitus (SHL), both plugs can be removed offering the least resistance to the joint.
Accommodates Various Shoe Sizes
The flexibility of the design allows for a wide combination of applications to address tri-planar motion problems.
