When heated the material becomes transparent to provide identification of pressure points and landmarks to provide maximum comfort.

Coated Materials

The coated surface is less porous and easier to clean making it great for long term splint use. It is also easier to handle when warm allowing for a temporary bond, but once cooled it is not permanent. To create a permanent bond simply remove the coating with spirits or by safely scratching the splint surface.
