TAS Toe Alignment Splint
The Darco TAS (Toe Alignment Splint) is an effective and inexpensive orthosis helping to maintain correct alignment of the toes during post-operative healing. The special T-strap gently guides toe(s) into proper alignment, wrapping around the large toe and fastening with a hook-and-loop closure. The metatarsal band helps prevent splint migration.
Ideal for Post-Procedural Healing
Soft toe straps hold the toes in the correct position to maintain alignment following surgery to correct hallux valgus, hammer toes or Tailor’s bunions. The soft foam loop straps are constructed to slide easily over the nail, arriving at the base of the toes. The loops are then fixed to the metatarsal band loop to maintain the alignment throughout the complete healing of the bones and tissues.
Fits Easily into Most Footwear
Ideal for the right or left foot, the low profile metatarsal band fits easily into most footwear and reduces slippage. The splint is universal to all feet sizes and made from elastic cotton, designed to fit any foot comfortably and securely. For proper attachment of the T-strap and loop straps, follow the instructions included.
