Foot Drop Splint with Expanded Heel
The Rolyan Foot Drop Splint is designed to provide support for the ankle and foot in a neutral position. Helping to alleviate foot drop symptoms, the splint has an expanded area over the heel and Achilles tendon. The expanded heel also prevents excessive pressure and friction, reducing contact with the foot at 0-degrees of flexion at the ankle.
Provides Optimal Comfort & Protection
The preformed splint provides optimal comfort and protection with its ¼” polycushion padding. Straps are included to increase ankle stability and secure a more comfortable fit whilst ensuring patient compliance. The solid ankle foot orthosis however limits the amount of range of motion allowed.
Multiple Sizes to Stabilize the Foot & Ankle
The lightweight ankle foot orthosis slides under the foot with the upright part fitting behind and up against the calf of the leg. The extra wide/x-large splint is meant for a patient with a larger calf and foot. The remaining sizes available include: small (5-7 W/ 6-8 M), medium (7 ½ - 9 ½ W/ 8 ½ - 10 ½ M), and large 10-12 W/ 11-13 M).
