Demo Zone Session: “Oedema is Glue” - Approaches to This Common Problem in the Hand (27/11)

Nicola Goldsmith MSc SROT, a clinical specialist hand therapist with 30+ years’ experience in the field of hand and wrist trauma, orthopaedics, plastics and rheumatology, will cover the causes and effects of oedema of the hand. She will briefly discuss different treatment modalities including compression, effective exercises, and application of kinesiology tape. 


Theatre A Session: ESCAPE-pain – better care for chronic knee, hip and back pain

This session, run by Professor Michael Hurley (Clinical Director, ESCAPE-pain, Orthopaedic Reseach UK) will describe the ESCAPE-pain programme, it’s ethos, evidence-base and its innovative approach to managing joint pain through education, self-management and behavioural change.


Demo Zone Session: Optimizing exercise prescription with THERABAND (28/11)

Catch an interactive session run by Tom Stanley, MSK physiotherapy specialist, as he explores and demonstrates how THERABAND can be effectively integrated into exercise prescription for rehabilitation and strength training.


Theatre A Session: ESCAPE-pain: a provider’s roadmap to successful implementation

Brought to you by Francesca Thompson (Orthopaedic Research UK) & Andrew Harris (Active Together), this session explores ESCAPE-pain programme from a provider's perspective, highlighting initial motivations, common challenges, and effective strategies for implementation to drive positive impact on patients' pain, function, and quality of life.
